* 2008 NYCB - DOWNEY cup 6/27/08 - 6/29/08
Thanks for Mr. Bob Downey and Mrs. Nancy Downey's generouse and continued support for the sport of Badminton, the DOWNEY cup was successful and the largest badminton tournament in New York ever! The cash prize of $4000 plus $1000
( medals & T-shirts ) were sponsored by Mr. and Mrs. Downey. They also presented at the tournament to support the games. Mr. Downey participated in Men's Double Senior games too!

* 2007 NYCB annual tournament - NanKai Cup 12/15 & 12/16/07.
Thanks to all the players and observers who participated in the NYCB Nankai Cup over the weekend, you brought in all the highlights and excitement for badminton! But most of all, we would like to take the opportunity to thank Dai & Associates, P.C. , they generously sponsored the cash prize ( $3000 ) for the 1^st , 2^nd place winners of all 5 categories, total 13 events! As all of you know that Badminton is such an “un-popular” sport in the US that most of the tournaments either have no cash prize or very little. Therefore, we deeply appreciate Dai & Associates could provide this generous financial support to the tournament!

* The 7th NEW YORK CITY BADMINTON CLUB team invitational tournament 11/4 & 4, 2007.
8 teams met and compete at NYC Badminton Club for ~ 2days. 8 team grouped into two pools in the first round, played round robin against the other 3 teams; then the teams played cross-over to determin the 1st to 8th places in the finals.
Results:
DC "ALL-IN" team: 1st place : won $600 cash ( sponsored by ISLAND SMILE DENTAL group )
CT team: 2nd place; won $300 cash ( sponsored by NY GAO PHYSICAL THERAPY P.C. )
NYCB team: 3rd place; won $100 cash ( sponsored by AMAY ASSOCIATES, P.E.P.C. )

* BOSTON Team Invitational Tournament   03/16, 03/17 & 03/18, 2007
8 toughest badminton teams in the East Coast competed.
Results: NYC Badminton team proved again that we are the best !

* The 6th N.Y.C. Badminton Club team invitational tournament 2006  05/27, 2006
Venue: JOHN BOWNE high school @ 63-25 main street, flushing, NY 11367
Time: 9:00am to 9:00pm Saturday ( 5/27/06 )

This is our 4th NYC team tournament. It is hosted and organized by N.Y.C. Badminton Club. There are 8 teams invited to this tournament, players ranging from intermediate level to international title winners...
